South Africa - Limpopo Valley

limp1A number of beautiful large hunting farms are used in the  Limpopo River Valley close to the borders of Zimbabwe and opposite the large and famous Tuli Wildlife Block in Botswana roaming with Big Five and Plains Game.  The are consists of open acacia bush and grassland area with beautiful  small granite  hillocks  and  small rivers which have some water in Winter. At Ingogo (pictures) a spring fountain provides clear  drinkable water throughout the year. Day photo safaris is offered through the Botswana Tuli  Wildlife Reserve.

Bow hunting is especially high on the list of hunting opportunities. Walk and Stalk (April to June) and Dark of the Moon (July to October). Rifle hunting also takes place from April to October.  Top SCI bow hunting records have recently been achieved for Kudu and Eland.

limp2Ingogo Lodge is beautifully situated amongst large bushveld trees with a  swimming pool and  provides luxury hunting  accommodation  in six bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. A hunters camp is situated on a river bank on the farm and provides comfortable accommodation for four to six hunters in two chalets with en-suite bathrooms with showers. A lounge , kitchen and boma area completes a tranquil picture of  a cosy hunters camp in the African bush.

limp3Transport to the farm is in addition. The nearest airport is  Pietersburg (Polokwane). Accommodation includes three meals, excluding alcoholic drinks and beverages . A chef prepares  various delicious  meals.
